ERUDITION 2012 …… A Report
On 6th Sept 2012, the 2nd NHS Inter School Literary Festival – Erudition 2012 was organized in our school premises. It is a two days Festival.  Yesterday on 6th Sept the Fest was inaugurated and the English and the Urdu Literary Activities were conducted. Today we will be conducting the Hindi Literary Activities and Erudition would then will Culminate with the Prize Distribution for the Hindi Literary Activities.

The Fest was declared open by Dr. Pramod Kumar the Hon’ble Judge for the 14th English Debates and the Prize Distribution Ceremony for both English and Urdu was presided over by our Hon’ble Chairman Sir, Dr. Salahuddin Ahmed Siddiqui, our General Secretary Sir, Mr. Sultan Chaudhary and Hakim Anis-ur-Rehman Sahab.

We feel very proud to announce this names of the talented Haizorites who brought laurels to the Alma mater in the competitions and events that were held yesterday.

We had around 17 schools who participated in the English Literary Activities and around 20 schools that participated in the Urdu Activities.

In the English Debate the 1st position was bagged by Asma Arshad of class XII – B and the 2nd position was bagged by Sahar Afreen of XII-B. In the cailligram writing competition Arbaaz of VIII-A and Amiruddin of VII-A have don us proud by bagging the 2nd position. In the spell bee competition Ibrahim Hamza and iram from the primary section have bagged the 2nd position.

In the Urdu Debate Haq Hamza Ahmed Khan of class VI has bagged the 3rd position and Abdullah Adil Saifi of VIII-A has secured a consolation position. In the Ghazal Sarai Ameer Jahan of XII-B bagged the 2nd position while Sumaiya of XI was placed on the 3rd position. IN the Urdu Calligraphy  Gulshitan from the primary section has bagged the 3rd position.

All the winners of ‘Erudition’ deserve a huge round of applause. Congratulation to one and all.

A Report

After having successfully concluded all the events in the English and Urdu on the 7th Sept. the Literary Fest moved into its 2nd day where in the Hindi Literary Activities were conducted.

It was our 6th NHS Inter School Hindi Debate in memory of Ahmadullah Khan Sahab.

Around 15 School participated in the various events conducted by the Hindi Department.

In the Debate of the Senior Section Hassanullah of class VI did us proud by bagged the 3rd position.

In the Hindi Sanvad Lekhan adeel Zaman of IX-A bagged coveted  2nd position where as the Primary students have brought laurels to the school by bagging the 1st postion in the Hindi skit competition. The prize distribution was presided by the Hon’ble Asad Sir, Hon’ble General Secretary Sultan Sir, Hon’ble Manager Sir Mr. Kamal Faruqui. The Ahmadullah Khan running Trophy for the Hindi Debate was bagged by Universal Public School.

The Fest was successfully concluded.
